Fitness Training


As your fitness develops, you will build up all aspects of your training.

Initially your training program includes a couple of rest days each week. This allows your body time to recover and gives your muscles time to build strength. It is important to start slowly and build up. If you go too hard too early you risk getting injured – then you are right back at the start!

We recommend some basic exercises such as squats, lunges, pushups and sit ups. All of these can be done either at home or in the park, or gym, depending on where you are at any time. Of course getting out into the great outdoors and walking is an important part of your training.
